The objective analysis of challenges related to integration and migration is the essential foundation for successful integration. Integration requires that migrants are committed and responsible. The host society also has to contribute to make integration successful and a respectful and harmonious community possible. Our goal is to help migrants feel well established in the Austrian population. We want to harness the potential of migrants and turn challenges into success stories for Austria.

We foster the linguistic, professional, and social integration of migrants in Austria.

• We encourage migrants' language skills. Language provides the necessary foundation for an independent life with equal opportunities in Austria.
• We support successful integration into the Austrian labor market through targeted projects, counseling, and specific educational offers.
• We foster intercultural dialog and mutual understanding with initiatives and events.
• We inform the public about facts, developments, and the background of integration and migration, thus contributing to an objective, solution oriented integration debate. 
• We support the Ministry of the Interior in implementing the Integration Agreement and the European Fund.
• We implement the National Action Plan for Integration by working with specialists and partners at all levels. 

We are an Austria-wide integration service provider and a center of integration expertise.

As a fund of the Republic of Austria, the Austrian Integration Fund is a strong partner for the Ministry of the Interior. We provide comprehensive integration services for migrants, society, and politics.
