At the regular information events, you will get to know relevant specialist institutions and can discuss your questions directly with experts. Cozy networking events also serve to expand your circle of acquaintances, make new contacts, and learn more about Austria.
You can take part in German lessons free of charge at www.sprachportal.at. Courses take place every day, with evening and Saturday courses available, which is particularly convenient for working people. Participation is possible without registration. Separate online courses for the profession support you with job-specific vocabulary in everyday work or in preparation for a job entry. The courses also include free videos, podcasts, online exercises, and tests.
www.berufsanerkennung.at provides an overview of important contact points, information on the procedure and explains key terms. An online guide helps you find the right office for the recognition of your professional qualifications in just a few steps.
The Mentoring for Migrants programme supports well-qualified migrants entering the Austrian labour market, building a network and finding a job. Volunteer mentors are there to support you and share their network with you. The program is an initiative of the Public Employment Service Austria (AMS), the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), and the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF).
